Public Sector Excellence™ Awards

The Public Sector Excellence™ Awards are a citizen-centred recognition and celebration of excellence in the public sector based on the Public Sector Excellence Reputation Index™ results. The awards raises the profile of the work and achievements of winning teams, agencies and organisations among colleagues, peers and most importantly are a validation of their efforts by citizens.

Winners of the Public Sector Excellence Awards are recognised with a Certificate with a Platinum, Gold or Bronze “Seal of Excellence.”.

The Grand Prix, the most prestigious and highest Public Sector Excellence award, is based not only on the citizen’s survey results, but is vetted by a respected Advisory Council comprising public and private sector thought leaders, decision makers and academics. In awarding the Grand Prix Public Sector Excellence recognition, the panel filters and substantiates the results with existing qualitative and objective quantitative publicly available data and reports such as annual reports, auditor general reports, media reports, public perception surveys.

The Lifetime Achievement for Distinguished Public Service honours the lifetime achievements and contributions of leading citizens dedicated to improving the lives of South Africans and creating a better republic of South Africa.
